feet first...

love what you do and build a business you love.

this week a whirlwind of talented folks set up shop in our studio at the goat farm to share their talents and words of wisdom with 20 students. jesse & whitney of our labor of love, max & mageaux wanger, and bri emery & angela kohler of blogshop married their gifts to create what i found to be one of the most inspiring three days since art school. have you ever had times when you felt so grateful, you just wanted to cry? that's where i'm at right now. we had to fill out a questionnaire asking us what traits we value most in others. i wrote down kindness, talent, hard work, and humility. these folks embody those qualities to the nth degree. i especially appreciated their camraderie and encouragement of building relationships with artists in your field. if you have the opportunity to attend one of the feet first workshops, i highly recommend it. worth every penny. 

here are some pictures i took during the workshop with the adorable couple i gussied up. julia ( an OLOL photographer) and aaron( mail chimp graphic designer) already have serious style, they honestly didn't need any help to begin with! 

also, i wanted to thank my girl, amy osaba for filling our studio with her gorgeous floral magic and to sun in my belly for filling our bellies with the yummiest food that i am still drooling over. 

and i wish i had been able to spend more time with all of the attendees! everyone blew my mind with their kind spirits and talents. y'all are all welcome back anytime :)
