i would love to try mushroom hunting this fall, under the supervision of a trained guide of course. i'm a wee bit nervous since last time i took a wild edible class they had us eat wisteria... which is definitely listed as inedible due to its poisonous qualities. and when i say we ate wisteria, we didn't just nibble...we ate bushels of the stuff. this time around i am reseaching my options so i don't end up croaking over a wrongly identified funghi.
