Behind the Scenes: Great Expectations Super 8 mm Film

 This is a wonderful video shot by the talented Chris Dekmar (who is married to rock star photographer Buffy Dekmar) using 8 mm film. This type of filmmaking is so special I highly, highly recommend brides to consider including this in their budget. If a picture is worth a thousand words, what is a film worth? Let me tell you, priceless. 

The video is a behind-the-scenes peek into the creation of this shoot. It makes me laugh at how pitifully unglamorous editorials are when you pull back from the frame. Unbrushed hair and sensible shoes is our currency.
